Recognizing the Metro Denver real estate community for efforts to reduce energy and water use, save on operating costs, and prepare their buildings for the future.

How it works

Participating buildings will use the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager tool to share energy and water use with the Watts To Water program. ENERGY STAR experts will be available to help any participant with this process.

A benchmark year is set – in the case of this inaugural round, that year is 2008 – and a subsequent year’s data is compared against the benchmark year to determine which properties will be awarded recognition in three different categories.
