From B-Cycle to Pro Cycling – Colorado Leads the Way

The first pro cycling race in Colorado since the Coors Classic was announced this morning on the State Capital steps by Governor Ritter and Lance Armstrong

The Quizino’s Pro Challenge race is scheduled for August 22-28, 2011 The exact route has not been mapped out yet, but it will include a mix of mountain, sprint and downtown stages.

In April 2010, Denver launched the first comprehensive citywide bike share program in the U.S. called Denver B-Cycle. Year-to-date, B-Cycle is exceeding expectations with over 32,100 rides ridden. (That’s over 5,765,000 calories burned).
