Take Five for the Environment

 Join us and make a difference

Denver residents can make a difference by participating in the Greenprint Denver Take Five pledge for the environment.  Help Denver become one of the most environmentally friendly cities in the nation.

The Take Five pledge initiative includes these five easy steps:

Energy: Replace four light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs.

Water:   Shorten your shower by 45 seconds.                    

Air:         Replace at least one car trip a week with walking, biking or public transportation.

Waste:   Replace plastic shopping bags with reusable ones.

Land:      Plant a tree.  Volunteer with the Mile High Million program, or plant a tree inyour yard. Help get us closer to Denver’s goal of one million trees planted by 2025.

Pick up a pledge card at the Webb Building information desk, any Denver Public Library branch or a Denver recreation center.
